Contents structure of one collection
The use of HachetteDAM involves compliance with common rules in the structure and classification of files. These rules are mandatory.

Each collection in HachetteDAM contains three folders:
  • Editorial: fascicles, books or other collectable material.
  • General: files common to the collection that are not for publication.
  • Marketing: all the support content of the collection (backing boards, coupons, Issue 0, spots, etc.).

In the folders with creation content (Editorial and Marketing) the material is separated into two kind of files:
  • PDF: Adobe PDF files in high resolution
  • Source Files: open and editable files (Adobe InDesign, Illustrator or Photoshop, Quark XPress, fonts and images)

In the Editorial area, both in PDF and Source Files, the contents are grouped by delivery, with the name "Issue" followed by the delivery number.

In the Marketing area, both in PDF and Source Files, the contents are grouped by kind of content: Backing Boards, Binder, Booking Coupon, Box, Coupon, Cover, Cover Bulletin, Dividers, DVD, ECommerce, Folder, Issue 0, Labels, Letter, Mobile, Notice Bulletin, Others prints, Out of Series, Poll Bulletin, Poster, Sheets, Spot, Stickers, Subscription Bulletin y Up-Selling Coupon

All Source Files submissions must contain these three folders:
  • Documents: Quark XPress or Adobe InDesign encoded according to the nomenclature manual. You can skip this folder and place these documents on the first level, keeping Fonts and Images.
  • Fonts: all fonts used.
  • Images: all images and vector files used.

By clicking here, you can download the folder structure of a work of 150 deliveries. Eliminating the deliveries and/or Marketing elements that you have left over, you will have the structure in your hard disk, ready and optimized to upload it to HachetteDAM.
